You know what is beautiful about this verse?-unconditional love.
The Israelites had rebelled against God because he did not rescue them in the manner and timing which they wanted. They grew weary in the desert, lost faith and disrespected God. They failed, but God never fails. Even in their rebellion, they were not forsaken.
While we were sinners, Christ died for us.
