Wanted to climb that mountain
It’s rugged terrain proved a worthy opponent
Exhilaration at the summit!
I can just imagine it.
Wading through pools of duties and emotions unsorted
I must save that mountain for another day.
Summits and steep climbs summon, sure to supply spectacular sport
Right now reality reminds
Each mountaintop endures…
Shadowy valleys and mediocre hills
Mundane and mucky meandering must manifest
Is it not the ordinary that prepares one for the ethereal?
